Listing of births, deaths, and marriages from the local newspaper (Beamsville Express / Lincoln Post Express) from approximately 1900 to 1961.

The Library has a collection of historical documents including diaries, government records, and genealogies.

The Library is starting to digitize historic images of the Beamsville, Vineland, Jordan and Campden area.Over 500 of them have been uploaded so far.

Anyone with pictures of earlier times in this area, who would like to share them with others, is encouraged to loan them to the library for a few weeks to be digitizes.

Documentation on thousands of churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and meeting houses, as well as historic persons, events and themes spanning more than 85 religious traditions and over 400 years of Ontario’s history. The inventory is as inclusive as possible, but for pragmatic reasons we have limited the study to purpose-built houses of worship more than 25 years old.

Historic Niagara Digital Collection

This site contains a local newspaper index, local history book and periodical index, an image database and a name-finding aid for the Niagara Falls area.


The 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 is fast approaching. There will be many activities to acknowledge this event. For details look at the following website Also, for local re-enactments check out the Lincoln Militia's website.
