The Library is starting to digitize historic images of the Beamsville, Vineland, Jordan and Campden area. Over 280 of them have been uploaded to www.ourontario.ca/lincoln so far. Anyone with pictures of earlier times in this area, who would like to share them with others, is encouraged to loan them to the library for a few weeks to be digitizes.

George H. Locke, the 2nd chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library, 1908 - 1937 was born in Beamsville.
