Novelist (EBSCOHost)
NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access,
reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It
also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as
Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides,
BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists.
Some features of this product include, using the product's "Find a
Favorite Author" feature to locate a list of John Grisham's titles, and
then using one of these titles to find more than 200 other legal
thrillers with the Find Similar Books feature. With the "Describe a
Plot" search, you can use natural language to search the product's
full-text reviews for "fast-paced" books or books that make good "read
aloud" titles for a day-care center. NoveList's "Find a Series
Name" search displays complete lists of series titles in reading order.
NetLibrary (formerly eBooks)
NetLibrary provides access to our library’s eContent collection. eContent is the digital
version of books, journals, and database content. You can access your
library’s eContent 24 hours a days, seven days a week. You will
need to log in from with the library to set up an account. (In the upper
right hand corner, click on 'Create a free account'.) After that you can
log in from anywhere to search for and read books.
