The Library offers more services: You can now send faxes from the library ($1.50 for first page, $1.00 for each additional page), and you can now print and photocopy in colour ($1.00 for each page).

In conjunction with Pen West Utility, the Library is loaning out 'Watt Meters'. These devices will tell you how much electricity your appliances are using. The meters can be borrowed (like a book) from the library.

Free, evidence-based information about H1N1 (Swine Flu) is being provided by the EBSCO Publishing Medical and Nursing editors of DynaMed™, Nursing Reference Center™ (NRC) and Patient Education Reference Center™ (PERC).

 

The Adult Book Group will meet on February 18, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fleming Library Meeting Room. This month's topic is 'Travel Books'.
 

The next full meeting of the Library Board will be February 16 at 7 p.m. at the Moses F. Rittenhouse Library.

Ontario Long Weekend

 

 
Family Day - Long Weekend Activities
 
Family Day is the perfect time for a winter getaway. The long weekend will start on Friday February 12 through until Monday February 15th, 2010. Ontario's newest holiday Monday allows Ontario residents to explore Winter in Ontario. This vacation holiday will provide a long weekend opportunity in the peak of Ontario's winter sports and outdoor recreation season and coincides with Ontario Heritage Week activities.

The winter session of Story Hour has started. The topic for the day was Winter Animals. The children got to hear stories, from Miss Elisabeth, about the animals of winter. Feb.4

The "Art Gallery" at the Fleming Library in Beamsville is filled with several dozen examples of fine art work done by local teens. Check it out. Feb. 2
