The Library offers more services: You can now send faxes from the library ($1.50 for first page, $1.00 for each additional page), and you can now print and photocopy in colour ($1.00 for each page).

In conjunction with Pen West Utility, the Library is loaning out 'Watt Meters'. These devices will tell you how much electricity your appliances are using. The meters can be borrowed (like a book) from the library.

 

Library News

The Municipal Election Voter's List is now available on-line. A paper copy is available at both Library branches.

Both branches will be closed on Monday, September 6 to celebrate Labour Day.

Our on-line catalogue (OPAC) will cease working Wednesday, September 1 at 5 pm. We will have a new on-line catalogue going on Friday, September 3. Check back here for the new link.

Tales for Two and Story Hour Fall Registration Information

The Wii Club and Ghost Programs have been cancelled.

Evergreen is coming. We will be changing the software that runs the library database (i.e. titles of books, items checked out, names of patrons, fines owing, etc.) The new software, Evergreen, will take over on August 30.

2009 Annual Report now available

Change in children's membership age and non-resident user fees.

Seniors' Wii Bowling in the Fleming Library on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m.

Newsletter is now available. (This is a large file.)

Due to budgetary cuts, the Fleming Library in Beamsville now has shortened hours.  As of April 1, Fleming is open Monday to Thursday 9-8, Friday 9-5 and Saturday 10-5.

The Adult Book Group will meet again on September 16 at 1:30 p.m.  We will starting the fall group in style with a tea party.  We will learn tea etiquette, have tea tastings and enjoy some delicious tea sandwiches and sweets.  We will also discuss our favourite summer reading.
Please contact Jill prior to the group so that we will have enough refreshments for all who attend.

The next full meeting of the Library Board will be September 21 at 7 p.m. at the MFR Library, Vineland.
